PPG released another new coating last year called Olympic Maximum Stain + Sealant in One. This was enhanced last year with a Weather-Ready technology that enables stain projects to take place despite poor weather conditions. This can be applied after rain only 8-12 hours after application, so unpredictable rain is no longer an issue.

Rust-Oleum?s Coatings
Rust-Oleum has also put forth some brand spanking new products to rave about, including Zinsser Odor Killing Primer. While applying white, it dries clear. This water-based, low odor primer basically kills existing odors on interior surfaces, so it works wonderfully for eliminating pet odors, fire and smoke damage, and food and cigarette smoke odors. Best of all, it?s compatible with all clear finishes and paints.
Designed with elastomeric qualities, Zinsser WaterTite Flexible Primer and Finish can expand and contract to fill hairline cracks. This is ideal for use on existing and new exterior masonry and concrete, including brick and stucco. It has a 10-year Durability Guarantee and is moisture and mildew resistant.
Sherwin-Williams? Coatings
Sherwin-Williams offers some new top-of-the-line coatings themselves: Paint Shield Interior Latex Paint being one of them.
